Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am currently seeing clients ages 21 and above.

  • At this time, I am only in network with Optum/United Health Care and Anthem BCBS.

    • $150 for individual, 50 minute sessions

    • $225 for initial consultations, 75 minutes

    • $175 for 75 minute sessions

  • You may have an insurance provider who can reimburse you if you have “Out of Network Benefits.” This process of reimbursement is done by submitting what’s called a "Superbill".

When using your insurance for out of network services, your sessions would be charged directly to you at the time of our appointment. I then provide you with a Superbill on a monthly basis to submit to your insurance.

Depending on your plan, you may be reimbursed a portion of the cost, the total cost, or it will go towards your deductible/out of pocket costs for the year. This is all based on your individual plan for outpatient mental health counseling and I encourage anyone looking to submit Superbills to their insurance to call their plan first and inquire what their coverage entails.

Questions to ask your insurance company if you are interested in learning more about your Out of Network Benefits:

    1. Does my plan cover “Out of Network Benefits” for outpatient mental health services?

    2. If yes, what portion of the cost is covered, or will it go towards my deductible for the year?

    3. What is my deductible and has it been met?

    4. How do I submit a Superbill to get reimbursed after a therapy session?
